I recently visited Legoland Windsor including an overnight stay in the Lego Resort. The hotels are great, with various LEGO themed rooms and decals throughout the hallways and even a talking lift.
It comes at a price of course, but a wonderful experience for the kids (and me!).
The communication I received prior to my stay was first class. Countless emails with info about my stay, attractions at the park, etc etc. I could sense the amount of work gone into the digital side of the whole booking experience and the app worked pretty well although I think the map could have had a GPS on it. Seems like a standard ask and not a nice to have. Even the data capture info was pretty cool, with my DOB entry field being completed with LEGO BRICK illustrations. The newsletters featuring the loveable minifigures.
On arrival the hotel reception was amazing. The minifugure wall was a big hit and the check-in was a good experience too for the kids to participate in.
I do think the park needs a little update here and there especially the mainland which has been a staple section of the park for so many years. It needs a lick of paint and I think a mini Ninjago land would be a good addition as it's a very popular section of the main park.
We all make mistakes from time to time and I’ve had my fair share but unfortunately I did notice this sign in the hotel. The devil is in the details.
